I’m still not convinced that Robert Pattison is the right guy to play Edward, but I’m a bit more positive now. And in one of the photos ou can even see the golden contacts the Cullens will be wearing

These people don’t look the part of Edward and Bella. And I LOVE this book and I wish and hope that the movie will turn out to be just as good unlike some of the other movies based off of the book that isn’t as good as the book.

Naw. I actually think that robert pattison fits this role really well. If u remember the book he fits it really well. I do believe that robert pattison is a good match for Edward. I’m like hyperventalating on New Moon though. Twilight was short and didn’t really capture all of what happened but i think New Moon is going to be really good. Especially since they actually have a new director in place. Kristen is a good match for Bella which is a complete understatement i believe. She definitely stands out, no doubt!!! Can’t wait for Newmoon Go team Edwacob lol i couldn’t decide.

uuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! NO!! The guy that plays james is supppeerr ugly!! Robert Pattison is sooooo much better. Robert is more of the mysterious class kind of guy which describes Edward beyond belief. Twilight was iffy and i have to admit it wasn’t all great but that was the directors fault.
i hate the choice of Edward. i feel like it is completly wrong, and im scared the movie will suck because of the bad character choices made!!!!!!i think edward should have been played by someone more attractive. maybe someone like cam gigandet. he is so sexy, and he plays the role of james in twilight, but i feel they should switch roles. it would be so better!!!
Well, I think that no matter who they had chosen for the part, someone would complain. There isn’t a human being who is as dazzling(hehehe..I just had to) as Edward, but having seen the teaser and some of the Twilight Tuesday clips, I think Robert will do a decent job at least. It could be worse. At least they didn’t cast Zac Efron….
OMG!! I cannot wait for the fourth cook to FINALLY come out and I am seriously dying to see the movie:D I agree though…the casting of the characters was kinda different from what I would expect…I don’t mean to sound at all condescending but I really think that the movie will be a huge disappointment for everyone because it will never match up to book’s greatness!!!!! I think that Robert Pattison is way tooo sexay!!! ok. i think that they made a good choice for the role of Edward. he might not be drool-worthy, but he definetly is not hard to look at. plus, he’s a decent actor. thats what i hate about reading books before the movie is out. when you read to yourself, YOU have your own idea as to what the character is going to look like, and how the character is going to deliver. then you go see the movie, and it’s not what YOU expected it to be. it doesn’t live up to YOUR expectations. Kristen is also a pretty good actress, so i think that she can pull off being Bella. Bella has the ytpe of innocent girl look to her, and Kristen hasn’t had to play that role before. so it should be interesting to see how the movie turns out. i think it will be a success, but that’s just my personal opinion. December 12th here we come. by the way… if you go on StephenieMeyer.com/midnightsun, you can read the first chapter in Stephenie’s new book. it’s basically Edwards side of Twilght. you get to see what he went through and where he went and what all happened to him once he met miss Bella.

I’m definitly looking forwards to Midnight Sun. Stepenie Meyer’s also posted some chapters and stuff she had to edit out of the books, and a short summary of Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse from Jacob’s point of view, which is also alot of fun to read.
Ok, truthfully what were you ppl picturing when u read the book? Robert is perfect for the part of Edward and Christian is also a great choice for Bella. Edward is not supposed to be some american boy looking hottie and bella is not supposed to be some fake blonde, tan, gorgeous girl. Have you seen Roberts sharp cheek bones and red lips. Everything about him makes me think too pretty, and then bella is supposed to look plain. Christian really makes the part work because, well francly, she is plain. She can wear no make up and still look pretty in a naturaly way. Very Bella like. I am new to the whole fan base of this series but truthfully i think most of ur opinions are crap. Anyways you should probably all think of who would be a better choice for this role and stop hating on robert just because hes insanely gorgeous and you will more than likely never be able to meet our beloved vampire boy (with a british accent, i think its british?)

Honestly, I think they did an amazing job in casting the roles for this movie. This was one of Stephenie Meyer’s greatest fears- choosing actors/actresses that audiences would disagree with. But I’m glad she okayed these guys as the leads.
I think the actor playing Jasper looks funny though! Also, for me, the actress who plays Alice is absolutely perfect.
Carlisle looks too stern for me, and Emmett doesn’t look muscled enough.
Laurent is definitely NOT what I was picturing, although he is a good actor. And the people who play James and Victoria are right-on in my book.
I’m so excited for the movie to come out!! I have faith that they didn’t screw it up. I think it’s going to be amazing.
i think robert pattinson doesnt look like edward… i mean, his head is too big, and te hair is to straight, it looks like a spark. he looks too happy, to kiddy, instead of what edward has to be. before robert, tom sturridge was going to act as edward and i think he is much better. search on google and you’ll see.
talknig about bella, this girl isnt like her, cause she has green eyes, and she is to pretty, i mean if u see edward and bella together, u should thiunk like “OMG this guy is too much fot that simple girl” and really, she is the same or prettier than robert. what ever i hope this movie will cover my expectatives..
honestly, i imagined edward differently as well. but the more i rewatch the trailers and eveything, the more i believe robert could actually make this work. i’m so excited about the movie, because i’m addicted to the book! so i hope they’ll produce something worthy the original. as for kristen – well, yeah, she’s not what i thought bella would be like. i think she acts too confident and not clumsy or naive as she’s supposed to. but maybe watching the whole movie will change my opinion.

I think the Edward Cullen choice is just find. He is definitely gorgeous enough. The part that I think could have been casted differently is the part of Alice. I think Rosalie looks more like the Alice part. Tho I do agree with a comment above that James guy is sexy but he looks way too intimidating. Imagine some of the scenes where Bella and Edward are having their romantic get-a-ways with the James guy. It just doesn’t work. But that’s just me
